When to Go:

  • Late September: The colours peak in the northern regions like Algonquin Park and Mont Tremblant.

  • Early October: The colours move south to the Ottawa Valley, 1000 Islands, and Prince Edward County.

  • Thanksgiving Weekend: Note that Canadian Thanksgiving is the second Monday of October. Campgrounds book up fast for this weekend, so plan ahead!
